It's easy to start monitoring your team's usage of Dropbox using SubOps. To begin, make sure you've installed SubOps in Slack and that you're authorized to grant third-party access to your company's Dropbox account.
Step 1
To connect your Zoom account to SubOps, open Slack and go to the #subops-reports channel then type “/sub” and the send arrow.
Step 2
This will generate a new SubOps subscription usage report. Press the button at the bottom to "Add more services".
Step 3
This will open a modal with several services you can monitor using SubOps. Press the button for "Dropbox".
Step 4
This will launch a web browser. If you see this warning, don't be alarmed. This is a standard Dropbox alert for new applications. Click "Continue" to proceed with the installation.
Step 5
Select "Allow" to give SubOps read-only access to report on your weekly usage.
Step 6
After allowing SubOps to have access to monitor your Dropbox usage, you'll be taken to a web page which confirms that you've successfully connected your Dropbox account to SubOps.
Step 7
You can now return to Slack where you'll see a message confirming the addition of your Dropbox account. This will also initiate a new SubOps subscription usage report that will include your Dropbox usage.
