It's easy to start monitoring your team's usage of Zoom in Slack using SubOps. To begin, make sure you've installed SubOps in Slack and that you're authorized to grant third-party access to your company's Zoom account.
Step 1
To connect your Zoom account to SubOps, open Slack and go to the #subops-reports channel then type “/sub” and the send arrow.
Step 2
This will generate a new SubOps subscription usage report. Press the button at the bottom to "Add more services".
Step 3
This will open a modal with several services you can monitor using SubOps. Press the button for "Zoom".
Step 4
This will launch a web browser with a request to give SubOps access to your Zoom account. Select "Authorize" to give SubOps read-only access to report on your weekly usage.
Step 5
After authorizing, you'll be taken to a web page which confirms that you've successfully connected your Zoom account to SubOps.
Step 6
You can now return to Slack where you'll see a message confirming the addition of your Zoom account. This will also initiate a new SubOps subscription usage report that will include your Zoom usage.

If you ever wish to disconnect Zoom from your SubOps account, here are the steps to do so.
Step 1
To disconnect your Zoom account from SubOps, open Slack and go to the #subops-reports channel and press "Account Settings"
Step 2
This will open a modal with all the services you can add as well as those you're currently monitoring. Press the button for "Zoom" to begin the removal process.
Step 3
You will then be asked to confirm that you'd like to remove Zoom. Press the button to "Remove".
Step 4
After confirming, SubOps will uninstall from your Zoom account in the background and you'll be taken to a web page which confirms that you've successfully removed your Zoom account from SubOps. To be clear, once you remove access, SubOps will no longer have any access to your Zoom account.
Step 5
You can now return to Slack where you'll see a message confirming the removal of your Zoom account.
You can always add Zoom back into SubOps at a later time if you'd like by following the installation steps.
